The Viking Hotel is in the fishing town of Hafnafjordur, only 20mins drive from Reykjavik. The hotel is within walking distance of a variety of museums, art galleries and parks.

The Viking Hotel and the West Nordic Culture House are in the same building. The hotel has 29 well furnished and luxurious rooms with private bath, toilet (WC) and television. The decoration is based on Viking and West Rodic themes and as you enter the hotel you are greeted with fine art and crafts from Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment, although minimum disruption is expected.
